'It's hard to put into words just how great Craig is. He's the perfect balance of laid back, professional and highly skilled in what he does. Right from our initial chat with him, we knew he was a fantastic fit for us. We especially liked how Craig shared our taste of an 'unstaged' approach to documenting our wedding; instead capturing moments as they happened, which felt so natural. Craig is just so friendly, he really felt like another guest at our wedding.'

MY APPROACH.

I've shot hundreds of weddings over the years, my philosophy has always stayed the same, people look their absolute best when they feel completely comfortable, seen, and understood.

Before stepping behind the camera, I spent years traveling the world as an international model. Being on that side of the lens for so long taught me exactly how weird it can feel to have a camera pointed at you. It also gave me a sharp, structural eye for lighting, movement, and angles from some of the best directors in the fashion industry.

I am not here to boss you around, stage moments, or force you into awkward poses. Think of me more like a guest with a camera, who happens to have a high fashion background. I submerge myself in the energy of your day, capturing the real, unscripted, and messy emotional moments as they naturally happen - giving you a style driven archive of memories that feels effortless and totally authentic to you.

About Craig | London Documentary Wedding Photographer

Portrait of Craig Preston Roberts, an editorial and documentary wedding photographer based in London.

I’m Craig, photographer, Father of three, globe trotter, Husband, dog‑wrangler, and someone who’s spent over two decades on both sides of the lens. Before weddings, I worked internationally as a model with top agencies like Ford, and I’m still represented today by Models 1. I’ve spent years in high‑pressure environments where timing, presence, and instinct matter, and that experience shaped the way I shoot now. It taught me something simple but powerful: people look their best when they feel comfortable, seen, and understood. That’s why I photograph weddings the way I do, like a guest, not a director. No posing. No pressure. Just real moments captured beautifully from the inside. I’m based in London, but I photograph weddings across the UK, Europe, and the USA , from New York rooftops to Florida coastlines and California sunsets.

REAL PEOPLE. REAL MOMENTS.
      THIS IS HOW I SHOOT.

On your day, I’m not hiding behind a long lens or staging fake moments. I’m in the mix with your people, catching the real stuff as it happens. The big laughs, the quiet looks, the blink‑and‑you‑miss‑them moments you’ll want to remember.

And when you need direction, portraits, family shots, or just a bit of grounding, I’ll step in with calm, simple guidance so you feel comfortable and look like yourselves.

If you want your wedding photographed with honesty, energy, and zero cheese, I’m in. Ready when you are.
